A strange sensation part 1

He could feel how every single part of his body ached, as he rose from the ground, unsure about the events that had transpired the previous night. All he knew for sure was the letter that he was holding. It had an oddly… sinister aura around itself.

Scoffing, he looked around with a sense of bewilderment that came to pass rather quickly when he realized that he was outside his apartment. He looked up towards the window he knew was his. It was completely shattered.

It wasn’t until he tried taking a step, that the shards of glass he later recognized as the ones from his window bore themselves deeply into his feet. As the blood started to flow, he felt a strange sense of happiness. It was as though he enjoyed the pain.

After a few seconds though, he snapped out of his trance as he ran back up to his apartment. Surprisingly, it was all still there. Even the note, as well as the bottle. He shuddered for a few seconds as he steeled his resolve and prepared to rip the note to shreds.

As the sound of ripping paper tore through the apartment, he could hear something else. The sound of laughter, along with a distant, but familiar voice. He heard what it said, which caused him to gasp and blush as he responded by saying: “W-what…? No… I didn’t… I swear it was an accident!”
And as the voice responded, he could feel nothing but fear for what was to come. It was only until… she appeared that he realized that all his fears… were completely justified.
