Here’s that reminder again. Zip it, and read. Once again, it’s me! Ariana! However, this part will be a little different. You see, my friend Lia here, will have a few things to say. Or… well, we will see if she’ll even be able to say anything at all after everything she’ll go through during this tour. Let’s get on with it!
So, tell me… how do you feel about this elevator ride…? Sure, it might look worn down and rickety, but, you haven’t even seen what’s objectively the best part yet.
And now… here’s the part that’ll make your stomach turn. Literally! And with that said, the elevator started to rapidly descend, until it crashed at the bottom.
I looked at Lia, feigning a look of terror as I said: “D-do you know w-where we are? T-this wasn’t supposed to h-happen…”
Lia looked back at me with a scrutinizing look before her face turned as white as a ghost, as she said in a mere whisper: “D-don’t tell me that y-you invited h-him back… d-did you?”
I gasped and shook my head violently. “Hello…? Didn’t you read the title? Why in the fucking hell would I bring him here?!”
Lia’s legs started shaking as she fell to the ground. It looked like she was about to cry as she said: “I d-don’t know… I just thought… s-since you never get scared u-unless it’s really s-serious…”
At that point, I couldn’t help but to giggle slightly as I helped Lia up to her feet. “That’s because I wasn’t being serious, you dummy… now, come on. We wouldn’t want to disappoint the readers by stalling, would we?”
Lia blushed and giggled as she nodded. “Oh, r-right… of course n-not! L-let’s see what’s next, shall w-we?”
And with that, as we took our first step into the new area, it started to rain. Inside. Somehow.
That gave Lia all the information she needed to figure out what was going on. And with that, she no longer looked terrified, but happy.
She giggled and shook her head slightly as she started to clap her hands together while the two of us started walking forward.
She also said, with a look of bliss: “Gee… I wonder who could make it rain indoors. I really do w-“
She couldn’t finish her sentence, because the perpetrator appeared out of the shadows right behind her and said with an icy cold breath that seemed to rend the soul from Lia’s body: “Have you already forgotten m-“
She couldn’t finish her sentence either, because she scoffed and jumped backwards to avoid Lia’s petrified body falling to the ground. The perpetrator and I caught her body as I said: “What’s up, Cecilia? Are you having any fun down here?”
She giggled and moved Lia’s body to a corner of the room as she nodded and said: “Oh, sure! This has been a blast! Thanks a lot for inviting such a gloomy and gothic force such as myself!”
I giggled in response as I looked up at the sky and said: “This is Cecilia, by the way! She’s a friend of ours!”
She gasped and whispered to me: “What?! Y-you didn’t tell me that she would be with u-us! I’d have put on a b-better performance if I knew!”
I sighed and shook my head. “Sorry, I should have clarified. You see…”
She busted out laughing as she said: “Sorry, right back at you. I was just kidding. I know who you’re talking about. Hello, readers! My name is Cecilia! Goddess of shadow, and the ultimate goth, at your service!”
I shook my head with a slight smile this time, as I couldn’t help but to say: “Right, I should’ve figured you knew. What do you reckon the next part would be about?”
She shrugged and pointed at Lia’s body, which was starting to stir as she said: “I don’t know. Ask her. She’s the only one who has even the slightest idea about what we’ll do next, after all.”
I nodded and hoisted Lia’s body over my shoulders as I said: “Thanks a lot for agreeing to be here, Cecilia. I’ll see you later, alright? Just keep doing what you’re doing.”
As we ascended through the now fixed elevator, I couldn’t help but wonder what would be next. However, the moment I heard some… passionate noises, I knew I didn’t have to wonder anymore. Before even arriving at her place, I could feel myself getting weak in the knees, as well as a burning blush creeping up my cheeks.
And with that, this part is over. I know by now that Halloween is long gone, but, I’d be a fool not to finish this, since I see it as an excellent way to introduce us to you, the readers! And with that, I bid you all farewell until the next part. Whenever that might be.
